2025-2026 High School Course Selection Information

Rising 9th Grade Academic Advising Presentation

Rising 10-12 Grade Academic Advising Presentation

Course Selection for 2025-26

School Counselors are excited to have the opportunity to meet individually this year! Please note that students will be meeting one-on-one with their Counselor and will NOT need to reach out directly to schedule a time to meet. The schedule for each grade level is shown below. If students have taken a course like HPE over the summer or are not currently enrolled in the course (not to worry) Counselors will still find time to meet with students during that scheduled time frame.

Rising 12 Academic Advising: February 3rd through 14th

Rising 11 Academic Advising: February 18th through 28th

Rising 10 Academic Advising: January 21st through 31st

Rising 9 Academic Advising Lessons: January 9th and 10th

HS Academic Advising Lessons Through Advisory: January 15th

Electives Fair: January 15th (during Advisory)

Curriculum Night: January 15th (includes Rising 9th grade presentation)

Students not enrolled in the above/online course will meet separately

What can students do to prepare for our meeting? Please use this time to consider 7 course selections and 3 alternate electives after reviewing the following resources:

-Conversations with the current teacher during Academic Days of Emphasis January 16th and 17th

-Virtual Electives Fair website for short videos of Robinson offerings

-Core class comparisons

-Rising 11th or 12th-grade students on track for the IB diploma should be meeting with IB Diploma Coordinators, Ms. Vu and Ms. Cho, prior to their academic advising window.

Course Change Requests Policy and Deadline: June 11th, 2025

Students may make changes to their course selections until TBA – after this date, course request changes will only be made on a space-available basis. If students wish to be registered for a “closed” course after TBA, they will be placed on a waitlist. All requests for changes to course selections must be made before June 11th, 2025.
