Cross Country:

The Robinson Cross Country season was one marked by transition, growth, and success. The team graduated many upperclassmen last year on both the boys and girls teams, with multiple VA All-State performers among them. With the graduation of that kind of experience and talent, it fell to the rising seniors to step up and lead the way, and it was a seamless transition. They, along with the rising junior class, came together to welcome new members of the program and carry on the tradition of this being one of the more competitive teams in the Occoquan Region. The Ram runners competed well at the Monroe Parker, Octoberfest, Glory Days, and Milestat Invites, along with a number of other inter-district meets. Each and every runner challenged themselves both physically and mentally throughout the season, and that drive to break through their limitations led all of the athletes to improve upon their personal best times (injuries permitting). In the postseason both teams acquitted themselves well, with the boys finishing 6th in the Occoquan Region and the girls finishing 5th. In a season filled with great performances. One that especially stood out was that of freshman Caughnery Freese, who was the only Ram to finish All-District and All-Region and qualified individually for the 6A state meet. The team is looking forward to carrying on the legacy of the graduating seniors this year by building on the success we had this year and taking it into the next season.

Volleyball:

Congrats to our Robinson Rams Volleyball team for their ramtastic efforts and performance competing this fall. With a 16-6 record, Varsity Volleyball had an amazing season! In the Region playoffs, the Rams had an awesome 3-0 win over Annandale. Robinson fought hard against Thomas Jefferson with a close 3-2 loss in Region Quarterfinals. The Freshmen team finished their 4-10 season with a great 2-0 win over West Springfield, and  Junior Varsity finished 11-3 with a strong 3 game win streak against South County, Fairfax, and Lake Braddock.Congratulations to all of our volleyball athletes on a great season.
