ellen terrill portraitCongratulations to Administrative Finance Technician Ellen Terrill who was recognized at the annual FCPS Honors event as the 2019 Region 4 Outstanding Hourly Employee and one of three finalists for this year's Outstanding Hourly Employee Award!

Ms. Terrill has earned the title of Commandant of the Robinson Marching Rams. Working with directors, parents, and vendors, she manages financial operations and personnel support for high school bands. Feeding 130+ hungry marchers within a 30 minute window, sometimes twice in one week, is only one of many challenges she faces during marching season. Overseeing our cherished Tiny Tots concert program, Ms. Terrill helps introduce musical instruments to community preschools and kindergartens. This spring 116 band students traveled to Disney World to march through Main Street USA. Ms. Terrill and 22 parent volunteers carefully planned and executed this once in a lifetime band experience. One chaperone commented, “What a blessing to see my senior march on Main Street. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

Congratulations also to the other Robinson Secondary School staff members recognized at FCPS Honors!
