Congratulations to our National Honor Society Inductees

National Honor Society members, pictured above, were inducted on March 20th, 2019

Congratulations to Robinson FBLA! 

Over the April 5th weekend, they won their 8th straight Most Outstanding Honor Chapter in Virginia award at the VA State Championships. Our FBLA Chapter is pictured to the right.

 

 

Debate Team is Headed to VSHL States

speech-debate-teamOn April 6th, the debate team competed at the VHSL Super Region 6CD Debate Tournament at Mount Vernon High School.

  • In the area of Student Congress - Matthew Lichtblau came in 2nd place and Andrew Lichtblau came in 5th place and will move onto states.
  • In the area of Public Forum – Anika Aguilar and Rachel Friedman gave it their all, but unfortunately will not be moving onto states.

The state competition is at Randolph-Macon College on Saturday, April 20th.

Geologic Mapping – 6th Place – Miles Lane and Ella Gilles

Thermodynamics – 6th Place – Jeyi Lee and Ryan Keller

Amazing Mechatronics – 2nd Place Mackenzie Proper and Mrinal Bhatnagar (truly impressive considering they had only 4 weeks to prepare and NO prior knowledge of programming Arduino!)
