The Girls Varsity Basketball team kicked off their season with an away game against Langley High School. Notable performers this game were Robinson’s Joelle Hugney and Bella Edwards, who combined for a total of 28 of Robinson’s 43 points. RGVB will start the season off with a 1-0 record going into Thursday’s 5 p.m. matchup against Seton. This game will be played as part of the Tip-off tournament at Forrest Park High School. On Saturday the girls will play again against Mountain View at 3pm.

This past Tuesday, the Robinson Boys Varsity Basketball came out with a win of their own at home against the Langley Saxons, 44-41. Boys Varsity Basketball will also be playing in a Tip-off tournament this weekend, beginning at 6 p.m. on Thursday at Freedom High School. They will be facing off against Battlefield on Thursday, and will play again on Saturday, with the time and opponent TBD.

Congratulations to both the Robinson Boys and Girls Varsity Basketball Team on a strong start to the 2018-2019 season, and best of luck to all of our athletes competing this weekend. Stay tuned for more schedule and score updates for our Robinson winter sports!
