This year, one of our Robinson Students, Kristen Bae, had the incredible opportunity to build a team from the ground up to work towards fundraising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma and Lymphoma Society. With the help of her two co-candidates, Andrea Cadima and Veronica Thieman, they successfully formed a team of 9 hardworking and passionate girls across FCPS.  Throughout their 7 month journey, the 3 teams at Robinson, Team Mission Possible alongside Team Ramfam for a Cure (led by candidates Thomas Walsh & Reese Koberg) and Team RAMbunctious (led by candidates Hamza Lodhi & Grace Dreibelbis) worked diligently and proactively to collectively raise over an astounding  $100,000.

Team Mission Possible, led by candidates Andrea, Veronica, and I raised nearly $50,000 and in addition earned a Scholarship titled the “Volunteerism Citizenship Award” for the 2022 Washington D.C. Students of the Year Campaign for outstanding commitment to community service. Team Mission Possible received a glass plaque commemorating their achievement and plans to attribute it to the school to truly embody “Home of the Champions” and hopefully inspire others to pursue works in philanthropy through saving lives across the world.

Our Robinson Rams were also featured on Good Morning Washington on March 14th. Congratulations to our hard-working Rams!
