Robinson students raise money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
RAM SPOTLIGHT
Robinson students Alexa Haynie, Madigan Rustia, Gracie Lewandowski, Gelila Solomon, Ambreen Mariyam, Riya Pudasaini (not pictured) and Grace Enders represented school team leaders who collectively raised over $87,650 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) mission! Robinson team members included Erica Coronado, Judy Awamleh, Aayusa Dhakal, Devon Rudolph, Noor Salama, Hannah Smith, Caroline Sears, Casey Hassan, Charlotte Swenson, Julia Lundy, Kate Allman, Olivia Waugh, Caleigh Jones and Jenissa Ibrahim. In addition, The Robinson team, along with 80 other teams across the Mid-Atlantic Region, collectively raised over $4 Million.
This winter, Team Rams 4 A Cure, Team Generation Cure, and Team Cure Chasers dedicated countless hours in LLS’s Student Visionaries of the Year campaign, a seven-week philanthropic leadership program benefitting LLS’s mission of curing blood cancers. Team Generation Cure won the Patient Support Mission Pillar Award and Caroline Sears of Team Rams 4 a Cure was awarded the Relentless for a Cure Team Member Award.
LLS Representative Alli Courtney and Principal Phillips honored our students for their efforts and dedication to this worthwhile cause. We are proud of them for demonstrating our Ram Value of Integrity as well as the FCPS Portrait of a Graduate Ethical and Global Citizen attribute.
