Robinson Secondary School has been approved as a Common Sense School, an honor that recognizes our efforts in teaching digital citizenship to young people and engaging the entire school community in this important discussion. The recognition acknowledges our school's commitment to helping students build skills that are essential for their well-being today—and for the opportunities, they'll have tomorrow.  Common Sense Education extends this honor as part of a national nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of kids and families by providing the trustworthy information, education, and the independent voice they need to thrive in a world of media and technology.  Watch this short video showcasing Common Sense School Recognition!

At Robinson, we have had a focus on digital citizenship all year.  Students and teachers have engaged in discussions during monthly Advisory lessons, have taken part in a digital citizenship spirit week, and have self-reflected on various of digital citizenship topics, such as filter bubble trouble and persuasive technology.   We have engaged our families in discussions through PTSO presentation as well as offering resources through our Robinson Parent Course in Schoology.  We believe that teaching digital citizenship is a shared responsibility and look forward to continuing our commitment to digital citizenship education throughout the rest of this school year and into next year.
