Congratulations to our school website and to school-based technology specialist/school web curator Mrs. Karen Miller! The Robinson school website was named the 2018 FCPS Best High School Website at this year's Web Curator's Conference!

Below is the write-up that was read as Ms. Miller received her award.

Mrs. Karen Miller is amazing. Robinson is not only the biggest school in the county, but the biggest in the state of Virginia. The Robinson site is the essentially a middle school website and a high school while in one. The site enables parents to easily navigate between MS and HS content while maintaining the cohesive theme and message of one school. There are never less than 10 announcements on the homepage, an average of 250 events in the calendar at any given time, that include the daily schedule rotation, performing arts events, and all of their athletic contests. The Robinson site has 55 different feature/blog entries since launching almost 12 months ago. It is filled populated on average once a week with events happening in the classroom, on the stage, and on the playing field. The high academics section is chock full of information because they offer not just the Advanced Placement diploma route or the International Baccalaureate IB diploma, but they offer both. Their student services page has a nifty feature – a link to the events that have been filtered so that only the student services events are listed.
