Our DECA students are headed to Virginia Beach the weekend of March 2 - 3.  Students completed an 11 or 30 page business start-up plan/proposal (and will do 15 minute presentation to judges), some have created  promotional/advertising campaigns for companies and specific products and services.    Several are doing professional selling presentations for virtual reality technologies for use in doctor surgical training or selling catering services for an 800 person event.  Others will be “pitching” their ideas for new innovative products for the marketplace.  Several students will also be competing in role play situations that involve role playing various marketing, sales, customer service situations.  Our two  freshman will be competing in a social media event and a job interview event.    All have worked hard and are competing to qualify to compete at the international competitions in Atlanta later this year.   

We wish them well as they head off to their competition.
