Robinson Secondary Wins 2018-19 Wells Fargo Cup for Academics

Robinson Secondary School has been named the winner of the 2018-19 Wells Fargo Cup for Academics for Class 6.  The award is administered by the Virginia High School League (VHSL); winners are selected for each of the VHSL groupings.  Robinson Secondary is a Fairfax County public school.

This is the first time Robinson has won the Wells Fargo Cup for Academics.

Winners are determined by a point system based on performance in VHSL state competitions. Schools can earn academic activity points for outstanding participation in scholastic bowl, creative writing, theater, film festival, forensics, debate, broadcasting, newspaper, online news, yearbook, and newsmagazine.

In Class 6, Chantilly High School finished second, McLean High School finished fourth, Marshall High School tied for sixth, Lake Braddock Secondary School finished in eighth place, and Oakton High was tenth.  In Class 5, Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology finished secon
