Spamalot Wins at the Cappies!

While the Tony’s were happening at Radio City, the teenage Tony’s called THE CAPPIES were celebrated on June 10th at the Kennedy Center!  Sixty schools from DC, Maryland and Virginia were represented, and of the 11 nominations, Robinson took home 2 awards!

The two awards came from the original 10 Cappie nominations.  A Cappie is similar to the Tony Awards.  Sixty-Seven school in the D.C, Maryland and Virginia area are elligible for these awards.  To receive a nomination, a production must be in the top 5 in each category out of the 67 schools. Students from the show performed on the stage at the Kennedy Center at the awards gala on June 10th.
